  • Since its inception Venegas showed her interest in intellectual property issues and the information society. While serving as a litigating attorney for the Puerto Rico Department of Justice, she stood out in direct collaboration with the Office of the Secretary of Justice for the implementation of the Electronic Signature Law of 2004.
  • For approximately two years she was legal advisor on issues of intellectual property, domain names, e-commerce, patents and trademarks at the national, community and international level of the Official Patent and Trademark Agency BGA-Lagencia ( currently Ingenias) from  Sol Muntañola Abogados Law Firm, located in Barcelona with offices, also, in Ibiza, León and Seville.
  • She has professional experience in the multinational music company SONY BMG Music Entertainment (currently Sony Music) in Madrid in the departments of Music Division, International Development and the Department of Legal Affairs. She worked on legal issues for artists such as Ana Torroja and Natalia Jiménez (formerly la Quinta Estación). In addition, she participated in the creation and execution of the marketing plan and promotional tour of the Puerto Rican urban music group Calle 13 in Madrid in 2008.
  • The growing  trademark portfolio of  the firm includes important international clients from Spain, Chile, Argentina, México, Brazil, France, Dubai and India, among others. Venegas has been in charge of the organization, registration, maintenance and surveillance of important portfolios of brands such as the number 1 TV Station in Puerto Rico Televicentro of Puerto Rico, LLC h/n/c WAPA.
  • She also stands out as the lawyer of the educational entertainment company and the children’s musical group winner of Emmys Atención Atención. She has had the opportunity to represent internationally successful musicians such as the Grammy nominated saxophonist Miguel Zenón, the drummer Henry Cole, the trombonist William Cepeda, the urban music singer-songwriter Chyno Nyno and Tego Calderón, the bomba and plena group Viento de Agua, MIMA and the music label J&G Music, LLC, among others.
